The adoption process consists of:

• Step 1 - discussion via email asociatia.animale.hope@gmail.com or via private messaging on the Facebook page followed by a telephone conversation. We are interested in the experience that the potential adopter has with animals, with details about the animals they have had in the past and/or the ones they currently have. We are also interested in details about the living environment in which the animal would live: in the yard or in the apartment building. We place kittens for adoption only in apartments with a closed balcony and solid netting on the windows. We place puppies for adoption both in the apartment and in the yard if they will be treated as family members.

• Step 2 - if, following the discussion, the adoption is made, we will take the cat or puppy to its new family and to its new home. The adoption is made by signing the attached adoption contract.

• Step 3 - we keep in touch with adoptive families long-term because we care about the well-being of the animals we rescue and care for both while they are in our care and later after they are adopted.

If, for various reasons, the adopter can no longer care for the adopted animal, it cannot be alienated to another person but must return to us no matter how many months or years pass since the adoption.
