Have you found an animal in need?
Have you found a puppy or cat and want to find it an adoptive family?
If it is a puppy, it should at least be dewormed internally and externally before you start looking for a family for it. Ideally, it should also be vaccinated before adoption, and if we are talking about a puppy that is at least 5 months old (female) and at least 10 months old (male), you should ensure its sterilization before adoption to prevent the abandonment of puppies; there are many free sterilization campaigns. Puppies should also be microchipped.
Some tips and recommendations on how to find an adoptive family:
If you have a Facebook page, post a few pictures and details about the animal and your contact information: email or phone number, and share it in groups and pages dedicated to animal rescue and ask as many animal protection associations as possible to share the post.
Also, post the same ad at least once a week on adoption websites:
Adoptions are carried out responsibly and to ensure that it will end up in good hands, sign an adoption contract. Here you will find a model that you can update as you wish. It is ideal to know the adoptive family but also the environment in which the animal will live. Keep the following in mind: People who want to adopt a pet but do not want to sign an adoption contract do not want to assume responsibility for the life of the animal.
Good luck finding that pet a responsible and loving family for life!
